> How to remove the Surabaya virus during system startup?

It will show the following error message during start up:
Surabaya in my birthday
Don’t kill me, i’m just send message from your computer
Terima kasih telah menemaniku walaupun hanya sesaat,
tapi bagiku sangat berarti

After this message if press OK then the PC will restarts and the problem repeats .

For this you need to remove two lines from Registry.
If Registry is also disabled then see the below link for solution:

HOW TO ENABLE REGISTRY IN XP

Now Open Registry:

And go to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

In the above location remove the following 2 lines:
LegalNoticeCaption = 81u3f4nt45y - 24.01.2007 – Surabaya
LegalNoticeText = Surabaya in my birthday. Don’t kill me, i’m just send message from your computer.
From now onwards you did'nt observe any error messages during startup.

Enjoy..

How to enable Windows 2000 style login in Windows XP?

At first open Control Panel > User accounts > Change the way users log on or off > uncheck “Use the Welcome screen”, (also disables Fast User Switching).

Note:
If using Windows XP Welcome Screen and it’s not showing Administrator login, press Ctrl+Alt+Del > release Del and press it again, while still holding Ctrl+Alt (displays Win2000 login)

> How to Control a Window with the Keyboard?

This trick might be very much useful while using Laptops.
                                          (or)
Even when the title bar or sizing frame is off-screen and not reachable by the mouse cursor, you can still move or resize a window.

  1. Click on the visible part of the window and press Alt-Spacebar to bring up its system menu.
  2. Then press S (for Size), press the right arrow key(->) to select the right-hand edge of the window, and press the left arrow key(<-) repeatedly.
  3. When the window is reduced to a manageable size, press Enter.
                                             (or)

  1. To move a window whose title bar is not visible, click the window or its corresponding taskbar button and again press Alt-Spacebar.
  2.  Even if the window is entirely off-screen, not visible at all, the system menu will appear as close to it as possible, so you can use the menu's location as a pointer to the "lost" window.
  3.  This time press M (for Move), use the arrow keys to bring the window back into view, and press Enter when you have it back under control.
Enjoy....
